Abstract

Homeless children are exposed to environmentshat may prove to be breeding grounds for potential handicaps. Precarious prenatal and postnatal health care along with unstable environments and family conditions place the homeless child at "high risk" for developmental disabilities. This article discusses the issues, problems, and potential solutions related to homeless handicapped children and their education.
