Abstract
Parents, health professionals, planners and architects at The Children's Hospital, Boston have met together for five years in a lively, valuable forum to plan a new in-patient pediatric hospital. The article discusses the expectations, formation and organization of the Committee; the architectural issues raised and some of their outcomes; and the policy concerns addressed by the Parent Advisory Committees.
