Alexander Nesbitt (The Third & Elm Press, 29 Elm St., Newport, RI 02840) is recently retired as professor of art at Southeastern Massachusetts University following a long career in art and design education with a special interest in graphic design. He has lectured widely and has numerous publi-cations on typography, calligraphy, etc. With his wife he started in 1965 the Third & Elm private press which now takes most of his attention.
